Mindy Acevedo has been performing since she was a little girl in the Bronx, N.Y. She would get herself into trouble by inviting all her friends over to her house to watch her perform the latest hit song. She would make it a party, casting herself as the entertainment.
Moving from N.Y. to Puerto Rico, she continued to hone her skills and have fun by performing in skits at home with her mom and brother. After graduating high school in Puerto Rico, she furthered her career by moving back to the states and attending college where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication.
She has performed in many commercials and short films including “Full Circle”, “Dinosaur,” “Donor” and “Cross Equals Love.” On stage, she has enjoyed playing “Gloria” in the musical “Bye Bye Birdie” and was also featured as a model in Martín Llorens’ book, “Descubre tu Estilo”. Although she has extensive television production experience, her true passion is acting and her dream is to continue growing her skills in this field and become a well-rounded actress.
Mindy has worked in the television industry for more than 15 years. Her broad background includes working as a producer, assistant director during live shows and commercials, and post-production manager among other positions.
